The May meeting of the Ceiriog Valley Women's section was held at the Canolfan Ceiriog Centre and was opened by the chairman Mrs June Chatton with the Exhortation and Silent Tribute.

The minutes were read by the secretary, Mrs June Northwood and she then extended a warm welcome to the speaker Mrs Ann Jones of Warrington and also to the
friends who had accompanied her.

Mrs Jones gave a demonstration of Card Making-mainly birthday and get well cards, and gave members the opportunity to make their own cards.
She was thanked by Mrs Northwood.

The tea hostess was Mrs Margaret Roberts.
