On July 5 th Llanarmon W. I. ’s monthly meeting visited Barbara Francis at Dolywern to see her quilting and find out how she goes about making her beautiful articles.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening seeing the diversity of Barbara's superb quilts.Barbara and Gill Brunsdon explained how each quilt was made and some of the history of quilt making. The group was also shown the amazing machine that is used to create the high standard of the resulting quilts.

A relaxing, informative and friendly evening was enjoyed by everyone. A sincere thank you to Barbara and Mike for their kind hospitality.
