Glyn Ceiriog Cricket Club, sponsored by Seventh Heaven, who last season won the Wrexham and District Mid Week Companies League, have had a varied start to the season. With all the games in May having been lost to inclement weather, and losing on the last ball to Manweb, have recovered, winning against Dee Valley Water in the League and beating Flexsys in the Cup. All home games are played on Chirk Cricket ground. With games on Wednesday, 2 August, against Civil Service on Bersham Cricket ground, and Wednesday, 9 August, play Manweb at Chirk., games starting at 6pm.
