Future Events: The Club is putting on a "Haloween Extravaganza" at the Canolfan. Put the date Saturday, 1st Novemeber in your diaries. Look out for further details appearing in local media outlets—or stop a committee member in the street (or pub) and ask for details.
Sponsorship: The Club are grateful to a donation from Kronaspan. The club is also thankful for their new first team shirt sponsorship http://www.bigthinkin.com/ . This has meant a new kit (dark blue) for the first team. This was worn for the first time in the prestigous Welsh Cup game against Coedpoeth United.
Merchandise: The Club now has the CPD Glyn Ceiriog Training top on sale. You will see them "modelled" around the Glyn and beyond and worn on match days. Please stop a committee member in the street or at a game if you would like to purchase a top—the top comes with the official club badge as designed by Aeron Davies.
The Stadium: The Glyn pitch was at the time of writing looking the best it has for many a year. The wonderful line marker, designed and manufactured by Einion Davies has been utilised to the full—with the pitch markings now looking as good as the Millenium. The new goal mouths are also now levelled out to provide a wonderful carpet-like playing surface.

New Players: The club have signed some excellent new players. Included in these new recruits are youngsters: Michael Hughes, Peter Matthews and Ramone Neison. The club has also signed the French midfield maestro, Nico Dacourt from Llangollen Town . The club has also re-signed a couple of returning players. The tough tackling Terry McGlyn has re-signed as well as the roving full back from Chirk, Rob Davenport.
Cup Results: The first team went out of both the Welsh Cup and Welsh Trophy in the first round. The defeat in the Welsh Trophy against Fellinhelli was particularly controversial with the Glyn losing to a last minute goal. At least now the team can concentrate on a push for possible promotion.
League Results: The First eleven have at the time of writing garnered four points from four games. A very young team have shown some promise. The best result was the away win against Mold Juniors. The team comprising of mainly lads below twenty performed very well. With Captain Nick Jones returning from injury, hopefully the team will show more consistency. Young players like Harry Jones, Lee Griffiths and James Morris are all only sixteen and have shown some great promise. Hopefully future games can see some good wins and a rise up the table.
The Reserves have a mid table berth having won three, drew one and lost three in their seven games. This is a considerable improvement, and with a bit of luck, their record could well have been considerably better. A more "mature" team, the Reserves have now got a welcome infusion of youth. With experience like Dafydd Morris and Aeron Davies at the back, and youngsters like Josh Langford and Ramone Neison up front—the team has a nice blend of youth and experience. The returning Robbie Owen from injury will also provide a boost to the squad. An excellent performance against Garden Village from Wrecsam, saw the team come from behind to record an excellent 3–1 victory. This pushed the team into the heady heights of eighth place!
