A meeting of the Management Committee held on april 27 presided over by the vice-chairman, Mrs Rona Bates.

Members were pleased to see that since the previous meeting, the new stage curtains are in place;
also to know that all the necessary electrical work has been completed and certificates to this effect have been received.
It was agreed that previous Community Council minute books may be stored within the museum, also that Merched Y Wawr minutes books may be placed in the bookshelves in the main hall.

Arrangements were made for some minor building repairs to take place, also for the paintings to be put back in their places within the main hall.
It was noted that further work on the gardens at both the front and rear of the building will be attended to by volunteers in the near future lt was noted that pupils from Ysgol Llanarmon had visited the Institute, where the secretary, Miss Einwen Jones met them, who had an interesting discussion with them regarding the many interesting aspects of the Institute.
