On Thursday 30 April a Cheese and Wine Fashion Show was held at the Edinburgh Woollen Mill Shop, Oswestry, organised by Mrs Shirley Terretta, to raise funds for the Centre, saw residents of the Ceiriog Valley modeling both casual and evening wear.
The evening raised some £ 200 for the Centre.
Thanks are expressed for the donations from those unable to attend.
Shirley Terretta was also one of the many who recently received their level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering-resulting from a course held at the Centre.

Buffet menus are now available at the Centre for those who would like to enjoy the facilities without the hassle of catering.
On Saturday, 6 June at 7 pm the Centre welcomes the popular television presenter and award winning folk singer lsla St Clare (formerly of the Generation Game). 'An Eveping with Isla' is a warm fusion of traditional and modern classics, spiced with some of her humorous personal experiences.
There will be a bar during this evening.
